PAPAYA: THE FRUIT OF THE ANGELS TURNS INTO A STRONG ANTIOXIDANT

Deliciously sweet with musky undertones and a soft, butter-like consistency, it is no wonder the papaya was reputably called the "fruit of the angels" by Christopher Columbus.pap resized 600

Papayas offer not only the luscious taste and sunlit color of the tropics, but are rich sources of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes, vitamin C and flavonoids; the B vitamins, folate and pantothenic acid; and the minerals, potassium and magnesium; and fiber.

As we know, vitamin C is a key component of a skin-friendly diet. Beside its many benefits, vitamin C helps make collagen, which is the protein fiber that's responsible for giving skin its strength and vitality.

Papaya has been long known as a health fruits and a secret to long life all over the world, but Japan made the most out of this fruit…

An anti-aging gift from Japan: Fermented Papaya Preparation®

Japanese scientists noticed that individuals with higher amounts of papaya in their diets experienced certain health benefits.

On the other side, Japan is famous for a country with longest living people in the world and one of the reasons is supposed to be their daily diet with many healthy fermented foods such as "natto" (fermented soybeans) and "miso" (fermented soybean paste).

So what? Well, it is simple: they combined papaya with specific yeasts and traditional Japanese fermentation techniques… Fermented Papaya Preparation (FPP) was born. A powerful nutritional supplement, FPP has been used in Japan for decades and it is also an extremely popular supplement in France and other parts of Europe. A major scientific study (1998) examined the antioxidant action of the fermented papaya preparation on free radicals. Free radicals have been related with aging and diseases, such as cancer, diabetes and especially in neurological disorders, for example, Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease. Results suggested that the fermented papaya preparation has antioxidant actions and that it may be prophylactic food against the age related and neurological diseases associated with free radicals.

Fifteen years after its appearance on the market, over 30 clinical studies show that FPP inhibits dangerous hydroxyl free radicals. In addition, researchers and medical professionals have been studying FPP for years, tracking its effect on the immune system and aging. Even Dr. Luc Montagnier, co-discover of HIV 1 & 2 virus, recommends using FPP as part of a tri-therapy (including antibiotics) that reduces the proliferation of the virus and stimulates the immune system.

img top about resized 600Dosages of FPP vary depending on individual needs and usage.

 • For basic anti-aging support, 3 grams per day is fine.
 • For additional support, up to 9 grams per day is recommended.
 • To add a boost to your immune system when you need it, start out with 6-9 grams a day for the first 2-3 days (at the beginning of a cold, for example) and then move back down to 3 grams per day.

Many health-conscious people in Japan and Europe have used FPP for many years as an anti-aging product without any side effects.

FPP is exclusively manufactured by Japanese company Osato.

SIX UGLY SECRETS AT THE COSMETICS COUNTER !!!

Part of the Newsweek special report on beauty, "Six Ugly Secrets Of The Cosmetics Counter" caught our attention.

In it, writer Cara Phillips shares the secrets to how they get you to buy. She should know - she spent seven years working at cosmetics counters. From the story:

"Option two is to gain trust by praising one product they use in order to make them think you’re genuine—which, of course, you’re not. I would often employ the 'take-away' trick at the end of a makeover. After laying out all the products I was recommending to the client, I’d remove one or two, and tell them what they were already using 'would be just fine.' Nine times out of 10, they’d grab the products back from me and insist they needed them."

"I was trained to turn I’m just looking into several hundred dollars in sales..."
